Seal condition
We record serial numbers, wax impressions, and tamper-evident tape states before anything moves. Each entry is dated and initialed in your bound log.
Environmental notes
Humidity readings, drawer placement, and proximity to heat sources are written down. Paper backups fade differently from engraved steel—we note both.
Movement history
When a backup shifts from a safe to a bank box, we add a chain-of-custody line. No digital sync—just ink, witness initials, and photographs.
