Registered business

Utility Birch Line is the official registered business name operating from Office 10, 57 Demo-gil, Cheongju. We were established in 2019 after our founder spent two years assisting family members who stored seed phrases on laminated cards and engraved steel plates without any written record of where copies lived or who had touched them.

What we do

We visit clients, examine their physical backup materials, and produce bound logbooks that track seal integrity, storage conditions, and every relocation event. Our work suits holders who prefer paper and steel over hot wallets and who want a human-readable audit trail that survives power outages and device failures.

Our approach

Each engagement begins with an unhurried inventory. We photograph seals before opening envelopes, note humidity and temperature near storage locations, and write entries in archival ink. Clients receive the original logbook; we retain no copies of seed phrase content—only metadata about containers, seals, and locations.

The team

Min-jun Park leads field visits across Cheongju and surrounding districts. He trained as a museum registrar before moving into private custody documentation.

Yeo-jin Han prepares logbook bindings, wax seal kits, and photographic reference sheets. She maintains our supply of acid-free paper and numbered tamper-evident tape rolls.

Seung-woo Choi handles scheduling, client correspondence, and the quarterly refresh programme for returning clients.

Values we hold

Accuracy over speed. We would rather extend a visit by thirty minutes than omit a seal photograph. Discretion is standard—we discuss backup locations only with the client present. We document conditions, never contents.

Community

We contribute field notes to local preparedness groups in Chungcheongbuk-do and occasionally host small workshops on proper envelope sealing for paper backups. These sessions are listed on our contact page when dates are confirmed.
